I drove up to my friends house and stayed the night as it was a long way to go. We set of first thing in the morning and got to the Golf club were we met up with a few people at a friends house house who has been doing the RD 500 Bradly smith rebuild on my forum and is all so an organizer of the ride out and show.
We then all road to the pub for the start of the ride There were quite a lot of smokers at the pub and on the ride out.
We then started out on the ride to the castle the entire ride was around 100miles and this was about ¾ of the way around. Quite a few more strokes at the castle Chris didnt do the rode as he was setting out the bikes at the show but this was his bike that he lent to some Scottish bloke and his son to ride. I was behind them for a good part of the ride at the start and it sounded real nice.
I was having a bit of a hard ride keeping up with the racers who had decided to give it some beans along the way for about 8 or 9 miles we were thrashing the ****e out of the bikes and Guess what , Thats right it boiled over the head gasket had let go . So i took a shorter ride back to the Golf club only about an half hour ride instead of 45min, but at leat i finished the ride, there were a few bikes that never finished and 2 crashes i hope the people in them were OK.
So back at the Golf club the bikes are pulling in and lining up for the show .
There were some pretty cool bikes on display . This is Barry Sheens bike not the every day bike toy see at a show This is kevin shwance 500 worth a bob or 2 i would think
It gos without saying i only took pics of the strokes at the show and there wear a lot by the end .
And last but by no meens least this lovely Air cooled that won best paint at the show
